Virtual Implant Planning

Whether an implant achieves the wished for success depends on the exact diagnosis, the planning and the preparation. Digital implant planning allows accurate three-dimensional imaging of the individual tooth and jaw setting.


An overview of the procedure A special computer programme transforms the DVT (Digital Volume Tomograph) images into a three-dimensional picture, with the help of which the length, diameter, inclination and optimal positioning of the implants can be planned. After this, a model of the jaw is constructed using this data. This model serves on the one hand in the manufacture of the drilling template used in the operation and on the other hand in the manufacture of the denture, which is fixed in place directly after the operation.

Navigated Implantation

Even if the bone has already deteriorated, safe implantations in our practice are still possible due to bone regeneration measures, or to the use of bone replacement material.

An overview of the procedure The template produced according to the virtual implant planning data is used during the operation to ascertain the exact position of the implants. After the insertion of the implants, the prefabricated denture can be fixed in place immediately in many cases. The patient leaves the practice with a fixed denture. Following the healing phase, the new lifelong teeth can be fixed in position.

Piezo surgery


Piezo surgery makes controlled three-dimensional ultrasound oscillations possible, with which bone can be treated in a more careful way than was previously the case. Typical fields of application range from bone modelling to implantology.
